Wednesday Weigh in - BOO

Yeah, so I let the sitting around get to me after being sick... AND THEN my birthday hit. I went out to eat with my friends, then husband, then family..... so at least I didn't hit the 150s again, right? Well, I have been back on track the past 2 days so I need to put it all behind me.

Snacklet: Cinnamon Chex (3)
Night snack 2 small handfuls of M&M (Sean - PLEASE take those to work!!!!) (5)

WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME??? 2 days into the week and I have already dipped into my flex points 15 points! I am trying to stay away from eating them!

Sunday / Monday

I have been DOWN for the count with the flu. I keep thinking that I feel good, but when I start moving around I feel like a train runs over me and I end back in bed. I have been pretty good with my points, but tonight I got fed UP with eating muffins and bagels and soup and send my hubby after some Taco Casa. I will say that the plus to being sick is that this morning I weight 148.6. Today happened to be my weigh in day for WW so Horray for me! I started WW last year about this time and my weight was 169! So in exactly one year I have lost 21 pounds! Here's to at least 10 more!

Sunday: used 24 points

Monday: Breakfast: peanut butter, honey, banana muffin (x2 ate one for a snack) (16)
Lunch: bagelthin and bowl of tomato basil soup (9)
Dinner: Taco Casa taco and bowl of frijoles (9)
Snack: Oreos ( I was BAD) (4)
(used 38 (ouch) points!)

Now that I am feeling better, I need to hop back in the saddle.

Saturday



I have been in bed all. day. long. with the flu, ughhh. On an exciting note, I stepped on the scale earlier and I was 149.6!!! Hello 140s! Nice to see you!

Breakfast: muffin with peanut butter and honey and banana (7)
Lunch: made a bowl of soup but only ate a few bites (3ish)
Dinner: 1/2 Sonic burger and small tots (15)
(27 points)

Just for kicks, here is the picture that I saw a month ago that solidified the fact that I needed to make a BIG change. Don't you hate it when you THINK you look cute in an outfit UNTIL you see yourself in a picture?

Thursday and Friday

Thursday: used 29 points
Friday: used 39 points. Got the flu, treated myself to a milkshake.

Dinner: Bagel Thin with 2 slices of 2 percent cheese and an apple (5)
Total: (34) dipped into Flex points by 5

Exercise: week 1 day 1 Couch to 5K (burned 221 calories according to my fancy schmancy watch)

Tuesday

Tonight a group of friends and I went out to eat at the Olive Garden to celebrate the upcoming birth of Ms. Addisyn. I have been absolutely dreading it... well, I mean I want to spend time with them WITH critters running around everywhere, but I am just gaining momentum on eating well. And who are we kidding... I flipping LOVE the chicken Alfredo there. I did a lot of research into what I could eat, and with the exception of one ravioli (which I spent the last 5 minutes mathematically figuring out was 2 points) I DID SO GOOD! I am so so so proud!!! This is a big step for me.

Breakfast: Peanut butter, banana, and honey sandwich (8)
Lunch: Bagel thin with cheese put under the broiler (surprisingly yummy) (5)
Dinner: Pasta Fagoli Soup (4 for 2 bowls) Breadsticks (10) 1 ravioli (2)
Total: 29 points!

Exercise: none, I should have made time but I didn't. No excuse.

Lunch: One and a half chickfila Chargrill sandwichs (long story) with a ranch sauce (11)
Dinner: Homemade LIGHT chicken and dumplings and corn (10)
Snacklet: 2 peppermint Hershey kisses because I have a wicked headache, might go get one more before bed.

Workout: Went to step. I hurt. According to my fancy schmancy watch I burned 548 calories (wowza!)

Breakfast: I slept until 10:30! So, I didn't eat.
Lunch: tortilla soup that I made a few days ago. (9 points)
Dinner: piece of left over Chicago style Pizza (17 points)
total: 25

I did not work out today, but I did paint the laundry room, does that count?

So, my hubby and I couldn't find our cloth measuring tape, so we had to settle for a piece of ribbon and our hard measuring tape... you know those metal kind.... I can't think of the right word. So, they are only kinda accurate.
Left Arm: 12 inches
Right Arm: 12 in.
Left Thigh: 21.75 in
Right Thigh: 22.5 in
Waist: 36 in
Hips: 39.75

... and now for the pictures that I CANNOT believe that I am throwing out into the world wide web. Hopefully I can laugh at my love handles in a few months.

Power of One... A new ME

Hello out there!
I usually don't make resolutions because well, I pretty much never keep them. But this year I want to get healthy. General, I know.... but seriously I want to be a good role model for my kiddos and I want to outshine my super hot husband.
SOOOOO.... I came across this online community when I was googling ways to help me on this little journey called the Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans (PS - Still love the Traveling Pants movie.... awesome.). The first challenge this year, which I am a few days late for is called the Power of One.

So the first items of business are my healthy living goals (read: resolutions... but not)
1: lose 15 pounds. I know, so un-original... but it would put me back at the weight I was when I got married and seriously, we all want to be that weight again.
2. Log at least 150 minutes of exercise a week. Zumba, jogging
3. Run a 5K while keeping up with my husband the whole way.
4. Cut back on the Diet Pepsi - please note that I didn't say quit.

Starting weight: 153

Sunday / Monday

Power of One... A new ME
